House of Prayer is a warm and caring church in an interdenominational
setting. Our Minister of Music, Mrs. Mildred LeCroy, provides
an atmosphere of worship, with a unique blend of Christian
music, that is a blessing to everyone. A variety of ministries
designed to minister to the needs of individuals and families
awaits you at House of Prayer. Kids programs, vacation Bible
School, Bible Camps, mission outreaches, and Upwards sports

It's On My Mind

Getting ready for Christmas is on my mind this morning. Some of yesterday was spent helping Barbie get our house ready for the celebration of our Savior's birth. It was snowing some, we had a fire in the fireplace and Christmas music on the cd player. Talk about a Christmas atmosphere!!
Probably you are hustling about and preparing your house also. This demands our attention and we face a calendar dead line, so it is kinda forced on us.
The preparation that is on mind this morning is that which is within. Keeping our hearts and minds focused upon Christ is not always the easiest thing to do. However, it is necessary if we are to really savor the true meaning of love and joy that our Savior's birth brings.
So pause often, listen to some good Christmas music, spend time communing with God thru HIS Word and prayer, look for ways to serve those around you and love unconditionally. We are getting ready for Christmas.
